The Texas A&M University-Kingsville Student Chapter of The Wildlife Society is a professionally based student chapter of the Texas and the National Wildlife Societies. The TAMUK Chapter is composed of undergraduate students with varied interests and majors that come together to discuss wildlife issues, educate the public, and network with both students and professionals. The TAMUK Chapter of the Wildlife Society also provides opportunities for members to gain experience, help with research, educate themselves, meet wildlife professionals, attend wildlife conferences, and explore a variety of careers in the wildlife field in an enjoyable atmosphere.  Members of the society are involved in the conservation and research of wildlife, fisheries and their habitats, habitat manipulation, and wildlife management.  The society has been recognized as the best chapter in Texas five out of the last six years and nationally recognized three out of the last four years. Meetings are held every other Thursday in Kleberg Agriculture Room 102 at 5:30.
