G. Allen Rasmussen received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. He was appointed to the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2002 and currently holds the rank of Professor and Research Scientist in the Department of Animal and Wildlife Sciences and Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, respectively. He also holds the position of Dean for the College of Agriculture, Natural Resources and Human Sciences. Allen conducts research in Habitat Management and Fire Ecology.
