Associate Professor and the Stuart W. Stedman Chair for White-tailed Deer Research

David G. Hewitt received his Ph.D. from Virginia Tech. He was appointed to the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1996 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Animal and Wildlife Sciences and the Stuart W. Stedman Chair for White-tailed Deer Research in the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. David teaches Wildlife Nutrition and Large Mammal Ecology and conducts research in white-tail deer ecology.
