Associate Professor and Research Scientist

Fidel Hernandez received his Ph.D. from the Texas A&M University-College State and Texas A&M University-Kingsville Joint Ph.D. Program. He was appointed to the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1999 and currently holds the rank of Associate Professor and Research Scientist in the Department of Animal and Wildlife Sciences and Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute, respectively. Fidel teaches courses in Rangeland Plants, Wildlife Habitat Management, and Population Dyanmics. His research interests include upland game birds, rangeland ecology and managment, and wildlife population dynamics.
