Associate Professor and Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Endowed Professor in Quail Research Fidel Hernandez received his Ph.D. in Wildlife Science from Texas A&M University-College State and Texas A&M University-Kingsville in the Joint Ph.D. Program. He was appointed to the faculty at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 1999. He currently holds the rank of Associate Professor in the Department of Animal and Wildlife Sciences and the Alfred C. Glassell, Jr. Endowed Professor in Quail Research with the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute. Fidel teaches courses in Rangeland Plants, Wildlife Habitat Management, and Population Ecology. His research interests include upland game birds, rangeland ecology and managment, and wildlife population dynamics. |
