Associate Professor and Research Scientist

Alan Fedynich received his Ph.D. from Texas Tech University. He joined the Caesar Kleberg Wildlife Research Institute as a Research Scientist in 1996 and became a faculty member at Texas A&M University-Kingsville in 2002. Alan currently holds the rank of Associate Professor and Research Scientist in the Department of Animal and Wildlife Sciences and Caesar Kleberg Research Wildlife Institute, respectively. Alan teaches the undergraduate course Range and Wildlife Ecology and the graduate-level course Wildlife Diseases. His research interests include parasite community ecology, toxicology, and environmental contaminants.
