Professor and Statistician

Ralph Bingham obtained his B.A. in mathematics at the University of Montana in 1955. His M.A. in mathematics was obtained at the same institution in 1962 after spending 2 years in the U.S. Army Signal Corps and 3 years teaching high school mathematics. After teaching at the University of Montana for 2 years, attending graduate school for 1 year at the University of Texas at Austin, teaching at Western New Mexico University for 2 years, and teaching at Eastern Montana College for 2 years, Ralph re-entered graduate school at the University of Texas at Austin to obtain his Ph.D. in mathematics education in 1972. He has been a professor in the mathematics department at Texas A&M University-Kingsville since that time. Ralph took postdoctoral statistics courses at Texas A&M University at College Station during the summers of 1976 and 1977. Since that time, his primary interest has been experimental design and the accompanying statistical analyses.
