Take note that you will need to submit an official copy of your high school transcripts, records of any additional college-credit courses, and your SAT/ACT scores!


Application Checklist
Submit Your ACT / SAT Scores
Make sure to send your ACT / SAT scores to Texas A&M University-Kingsville. Our campus code is 4212 for ACT and 6822 for SAT.
Apply for Admission
Contact our Office of Admissions at (361) 593-2315 for more information or apply online using the Texas Common Application.
Submit Your Transcripts
Ask your high school counselor to forward an official copy of your high school transcript to the Office of Admissions, MSC 128, Kingsville, TX 78363-8202. If you have completed college coursework while in high school, ask that those transcripts be mailed to the address provided above by the college(s) you have attended.
Apply for Financial Aid and Scholarships
Fill out the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) between January 1 and February 14. TAMUK’s FAFSA code is 003639. Complete and submit a Scholarship Application.
Take a State of Texas-Required Assessment
THEA, Quick THEA, Accuplacer, COMPASS, or ASSET scores will be required before you register for classes.
Confirm Your Acceptance to TAMUK
Be sure to confirm your acceptance with the Office of Admissions at (361) 593- 2315. If additional documents are needed to complete your application, provide them ASAP!
Sign, Accept, and Return Your Financial Aid / Scholarship Package
Receiving your financial aid / scholarship award letters is only one step in the process. Be sure to sign your award letters and return them to the appropriate office to let us know you will be here next semester.
Sign Up for Hoggie Days New Student Orientation
In addition to obtaining a class schedule tailored to your academic needs, Hoggie Days New Student Orientation will help you make a smooth transition to being a college student at Texas A&M University-Kingsville.
Explore Housing and Food Service Options
Residence Life offers many different options for students living on campus. The priority deadline for fall 2006 housing applications is June 1, so don’t delay submitting your application. More information and answers to your questions about living on campus can be found here.
Attend Javelina Welcome Pre-Semester Orientation
Making new friends, finding your way around campus, having fun at campus events, and taking care of last minute details before classes begin – what a great way to begin your first semester on campus! Javelina Welcome, scheduled for the weekend prior to the beginning of classes, helps new students successfully transition to college.
