Fashion & Interiors Merchandising Group

Fashion and Interiors Merchandising Group is heavily involved in activities in the college, the campus, and the community. Members have participated in events ranging from a rummage sale to the Homecoming Parade to Fall Carnival. They have sold ice cream at Spring Fling and had an extremely successful Paint-a-Pumpkin Sale.

The group has held two Dress for Success Fashion Shows in conjunction with Career Services over the past year. They also attended the Fashion Group International’s Dallas Career Day, where two members competed in the DIFFA Jean Jacket Competition and one member participated in the trend board competition. One of the jackets was displayed during the Fashion Show and worn by a professional model.

The club recently held its Spring Fashion Show and is currently working on updating and redecorating the residence hall viewing rooms for incoming students.
